A week from today, one of the year’s most buzzed-about books — Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead by Sheryl Sandberg — hits stores, and we’re excited to give you a special sneak peak of the book trailer below. In it, Sandberg, who is the COO of Facebook and one of the most high-profile business executives in the country, talks about entering the workforce expecting equal opportunities and responsibilities as men —  as many of us did. She soon realized that even with all the barriers women have broken in recent history, the business world was still far from egalitarian. Women were still being held back, both by society and by themselves, she argues.

Part kick-in-the-pants career guide, part new feminist rallying cry, Lean In is part of Sandberg’s multi-channel effort to start a new conversation about gender and work and how we balance our lives. And, she’s already done that; the book has sparked a wide range of of reviews, blog posts, backlash and support. We’ll be talking about it too. it’s our book of the month for March, and we’ve got some exciting things planned, including a giveaway. So stay tuned, and lean in…
