BBL’s Graduation Gift Guide

Graduation is looming only a few weeks in the distance for many young people across the country. This can be a daunting, yet exciting, time. Many family members and friends will likely ask you (or maybe they already have) to help celebrate this momentous occasion so we have rounded up some of our favorite books to give graduates. These books will help them with the next chapter of their life, whether it’s college or their first job.

Wild by Cheryl Strayed:
Although most recent graduates won’t literally be going into the wild, it might feel as if they are. This book of self-discovery and contemplation of the world is a great companion for the nervous, yet determined.

The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg:
Habits are over half of our daily activities, why not try to develop good ones while young? Put a recent graduate on the right track with this insightful and extremely useful exposition on the human psyche.

Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazi:
Sometimes things really are that simple—never eat alone. Keith Ferrazzi delves into the little things that people do that lead to success. Through his work he brings the idea of “networking” to a whole new level.
