Ask Yourself: What’s My Excuse?

What’s YOUR EXCUSE for not having the body that you want? What’s preventing you from being healthy, fit, and confident?

As a busy working mom of three young sons, who were born in 2009, 2010, and 2011, it wasn’t easy for me to get back into shape.

Despite my daily obligations, I made it a priority to incorporate a workout routine and diet plan that gave me energy and made me feel great, and I did it in a smart, healthy, and sustainable way.

When I reached my fitness goal, I decided to share a photo of myself, with the caption “What’s Your Excuse?” on my website and social media, as a way to inspire others to overcome their obstacles. That photo captured 16 million views within two weeks on Facebook and was featured on dozens of television shows across the world. My question stirred a controversy and backlash that I hadn’t expected, but most of the feedback I received was positive, from people who had decided to start prioritizing their health.

With my book, The No More Excuses Diet, I will help you cut through the excuses that stand between you and your healthy lifestyle. I offer a realistic and long-term eating plan and a workout guide that can be customized depending on your goals. Start with this Sample Meal Plan.
