While there are still three more weeks until Christmas, I have already had my fair share of egg nog, mulled wine, pie, cookies and cake. Overindulging during the holidays is easy, especially if you are a stress eater.
That is why it is especially important to exercise during this time of year; it helps battle stress and keeps the holiday bulge to a minimum. But this is a difficult time of year to muster motivation for exercising—it’s cold, it’s dark at 5 p.m., and time is at a premium. Excuses are many; trust me, I have used them all.
